Hey, since most of you are not around to listen to me, I thought I'd mention that it's just over two weeks until I leave for San Francisco! I can't wait - but I'm keeping myself mentally busy so I don't think about it too much.
I believe I have enough stuff to pack for clothes & stuff, and I'm set with how I'll connect back to work (yeah, there are a few processes only I know how to fix, so I'll still need to be able to get back into the network here at work). I've got a good idea of things I want to do while in San Francisco, as I will have a few days before the surgery.
Of course, the recovery is what worries me. I know I'll get better and that it will take months to really have the swelling go down and have my features resolve into whatever they'll be. I'm excited to see the results and I'm sure it will be great!
I do have some before pictures to compare. Another photographer who was putting together some book project took a bunch of pictures just last Saturday, so I'll have those too.
15 days until I leave, and 19 until surgery!!!! :)
