It's nice to just be myself.  I was at a party where even though I wasn't obviously dressed female, I was still introduced as Leann.  I did have some makeup, jewelry and my legs are shaved (I wore shorts), and my hair is getting longer, so there was some signs of gender but I'm sure everyone saw a guy before the saw a woman.  So people can adjust and understand that transition takes time and they can be Ok with that.  But it takes people with open minds and a willingness to allow for variety in people.  I am very fortunate to have such friends that are willing to stand up for me and welcome Leann into their home!
