Let me clarify.  I am expressing the thought that if I want to be read as female in public, I'll need the forms.  And I should further define 'public'.  Work is not ready for that, but if I want to shop or run errands, then I should fully present.  In the general public, people don't know me as male, and having the forms helps me fully present as female.

I've had a few surgeries...

Facial Feminisation (FFS-Dr. Ousterhout in San Francisco) was around $35,000 and included:

Trach shave

Jaw line

Chin reduction

Upper lip reduction

Nose reduction

Forehead contouring

Scalp advancement   (yeah, it was like an 11 hour surgery)

In Thailand with Dr. Chettawut, $14,500 and included

Eye lid reduction (done separately)

Scrotal graft and breast augmentation (about a 10 hour surgery)

Face lift (done 3 days later- I barely remember it)

Add to this laser treatments for most parts of my body and electrolysis, both of which I STILL have done (although much less time involved...it's maintenence at this point).

I'm now planning on FemLar surgery with Dr. Thomas in Portland.  I expect that to cost upwards of 8,000 or so, but have not discussed current costs of the procedure.

And yes, I'm going to be paying off credit cards for a while.
