Going shopping and no one flinches when I check my garments with the lady at the dressing rooms.  I'd say I was surprised that I was simply taken as a woman in such an intimate setting where I'd have expected people to be concerned that a man would be attempting to use the women's area.

And just to extend on that idea, I'm surprised at how well the transitioning has gone.  I've recieved more support and acceptance along with no negative encounters to relate (so far).  I know it's not like this for most people transitioning.  If it's something I'm doing right, then I hope the things I've posted on this web site help out others as they look for answers on how to make it successful as well.   Maybe I'm just lucky.
