Started growing my hair out
Set a target weight of 135lbs (at this time was 177lbs)
Started Electrolysis
Corrective eye surgery (Ok, that doesn't do anything for gender but felt I'd look better without glasses)
Began taking hormones. Also finally getting my nails to cooperate and not break.
Learning to use makeup. This will take some practice
Gave up wearing all my old guy clothes. Of course, some items are 'gender neutral' in appearance, but they all came out of the women's department.
Working all the time with my voice now.
Lining up all the things that need to have my name changed, so I can plan for that. I still have muscular arms & legs, but I can see it's fading.
Eyebrows 'done' (waxed actually)
Name legally changed
Ears pierced
Started taking Biotin to strengthen my nails/hair
Stepped up efforts at voice training
FFS (Facial Feminization Surgery) on the 24th
First day back from FFS at work on the 7th (my birthday)
Started taking Avodart to spur more hair growth
Noticing new hair growth along hairline (above forehead) with hairs of .5" to 1.5" clearly visible.
May 19th Lower eyelid surgery
May 21st - GRS & BA
May 24th - Face lift
Still having problems growing my nails out /sigh, so I added a vitamen B suppliment (doctor recommended)
Started Laser on my chest (not much, but a few)
I'm planning on having hair transplants by this Spring
I decided not to continue laser on my face, as I didn't think the return was worth it. I can finish up with electrolysis for what remains. So I switched to laser on my legs :)
Current weight - 149lbs (67.7 kg)
(I'm also 5' 7.5" or 1.7 meters)
199 hours of electrolysis - 11 laser sessions
* Immer Geradeaus - A common direction given in the German language. Literally, it means 'always straight ahead'. In my experience in Germany, I found that it was commonly the last direction given. Not that you just need to go straight ahead and you'll get there, but that's a close as that person can get you. From then on, you're on you're own. Hence, I felt 'immer geradeous' was appropriate directions for how to deal with transitioning. There are some instructions out there, but at at a certain point, it's immer geradeaus! (just keep on going - you'll get there somehow).
